As you're all well aware by now, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. This is a cause near and dear to our hearts at Dahlia's and we will be donating £1.00 for every bra sold in the month of October to Breast Cancer Care.

Breast Cancer Care is a wonderful charity offering help and support to anyone affected with breast cancer. They offer free resources to help raise breast cancer awareness in the UK. These include breast health promotion, early detection, treatment and support when it's needed most. These services are a valuable part of our community and a lifeline to those that are facing one of the scariest times in their life.

Breast Cancer Care also campaigns for a healthy body image after breast cancer. 88% of women affected by breast cancer say that the disease and it's treatments have left them with a negative body image, 68% saying it has affected their intimate relationships.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, and being breast aware can save your life!

Joining the fight against this monster of a disease, we're hosting  Pink Friday on October 25th and November 1st 2013 at Dahlia's. We're offering a free gift with purchase to anyone who comes into the shop wearing pink. Miss Dahlia is decked out from head to toe in a a lovely shade of rose today....even her bra and undies are pink.
